Whenever our team at Amazonia Impact Ventures (AIV) attends global events, whether an impact summit in Geneva or a roundtable in London, the same question echoes back:

Today, we finally have an answer, and we’re thrilled to share it with you.

AIV is now raising catalytic capital to scale our Technical Assistance (TA) facility via a new nonprofit platform where tax-deductible, charitable donations are pooled and deployed into mission-driven businesses.

Co-founded by Ken Kurtzig and Tim Freundlich, CataCap bridges the worlds of giving and investing, enabling individuals and organisations to channel their resources into purpose-driven ventures that align with their values.

The platform is redefining philanthropy by unlocking the potential of untapped capital in donor-advised funds (DAFs), foundations, and charitable giving. It offers flexible, patient capital for companies that require philanthropic support.

“Our TA facility is a crucial part of our business. We offer the cooperatives executive training, agroforestry strategies, and business advice. They benefit from it to become more profitable and efficient”, explained AIV’s co-founder, Pajani Singah.
