AIV honours the world’s Indigenous Peoples by highlighting their role as the Amazon’s most effective forest protectors, the global inequities they face, and the impact‑linked finance model supporting Indigenous enterprises across forest‑positive value chains.

Amazonia Impact Ventures has started UK PACT’s field work in Peru with a project session in Puerto Maldonado, bringing together producer organisations from key Amazonian value chains. The meeting introduced the diagnostic process, capacity‑building modules and plans for strengthening forest‑based enterprises across Loreto and Madre de Dios.

Last Friday in Lima, UK PACT launched its flagship Peru programme, backed by £1.18 million to elevate Peruvian non-timber forest products in global markets.
