A 100% women‑led coffee cooperative from the Peruvian Amazon has reached a new milestone. CEMCAVIR has completed its first export shipment to Malongo in France, following years of investment and partnership with Amazonia Impact Ventures. Their progress reflects the power of women’s leadership and sustainable value chains in the Amazon.

Amazonia Impact Ventures held an initial conversation with the Fundação Amazônia Sustentável in Manaus, exploring early opportunities for collaboration on community‑led bioeconomy models in the Brazilian Amazon. The discussion highlighted FAS’s flagship pirarucu programme, a recognised example of how conservation, traditional knowledge and local income generation can reinforce one another across floodplain ecosystems.
