Nature finance in discussion at Cambridge University

8th October 2024

Exciting news!

Our Co-founder, Pajani Singah, is actively participating in today's Land Use Finance Knowledge Exchange 2024 - an event organised by UNEP and UNEP-WCMC in Cambridge, UK.

Held at the David Attenborough Building, part of Cambridge University, the meeting unites impact managers, investors, and environmental and social (E&S) practitioners to share insights into risks and opportunities linked to channelling private finance in sustainable land use transition.

Key discussion topics are regulatory changes in Europe affecting investments, nature positive in investment strategies, alignment with global goals and next steps for impact investments, among others.

Since 2020, Amazonia Impact Ventures (AIV) has been dedicated to sustainability, collaborating with over 14 organisations across Peru, Ecuador, and Colombia. Together, we are working towards the sustainable management of over 160,000 hectares of agricultural and forest lands in the Amazon.
