Over the next two weeks, a fully virtual forum is bringing together influential voices to shape the future of the Amazon's bioeconomy. Hosted by the Pan-Amazon Network for Bioeconomy, this forum fosters collaboration, investment, and breakthrough strategies across seven key themes – all running until 22nd May.

Aldo Soto, Managing Director at Amazonia Impact Ventures (AIV), will share firsthand experiences on investing in 12 value chains, including Brazil nuts, ungurahui, aguaje, and açaí - key non-timber forest products driving economic growth for small and medium enterprises in the Amazon.

Aldo is joining this afternoon the panel discussion: Capital Drivers. Together with Marcus Bessa (Impact Hub Manaus, Brazil), Fany Kuiru (COICA, Colombia), and Katia Fenyves (BID Brasil), they will discuss innovative ideas to secure investment for the region. The event counts with the support of IDB and the World Research Institute.
