At Amazonia Impact Ventures (AIV), our impact grows when we open markets for the Amazon, raising awareness of its remarkable foods and helping forest‑based producers reach international buyers. As we expand, we’re also deepening our work in Brazil, where we’ve begun financing projects that strengthen community‑centred economies with Ecotierra and Courageous Land.
Tomorrow, Pajani Singah, Co‑founder and Investment Director at AIV, joins "Scaling EU–Brazil Bioeconomy Partnerships", one of the events hosted during the 4th edition of the Amazon Week in Brussels.
Gatherings are happening in various locations, including Brussels, Berlin, Paris and London. Hosted by the European Union, Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) GmbH, and other partners committed to sustainable Amazonian value chains, the event brings together producers, cooperatives, entrepreneurs, European buyers, investors, and institutions.
The market session will showcase high‑value, forest‑positive products aligned with the EU–Mercosur agreement, while the investment dialogues will explore real experiences of investing in the Brazilian Amazon and the barriers that continue to limit green finance.
For Singah, it’s a timely opportunity to strengthen partnerships that link Amazonian producers with European markets and accelerate investment into forest‑positive business models. AIV invests across the value chain, from producer organisations and mid‑chain actors to ethical buyers bringing forest products to global markets.
We thank you the organisers Global Gateway, European Union, Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) GmbH, ApexBrasil.
