London Climate Action Week (#LCAW) is almost here… And we’re thrilled to be part of it.
Since its founding in 2019, #LCAW has grown into Europe’s largest climate festival, a week where London’s extraordinary ecosystem of thinkers, investors, policymakers and practitioners comes together to accelerate global climate action. It’s exactly the kind of platform where the Amazon bioeconomy deserves to be front and centre.
As a UK‑based impact investment manager working across Peru, Ecuador, Colombia and Brazil, Amazonia Impact Ventures (AIV) is proud to bring Amazon‑rooted insight into a market that is increasingly shaping global climate finance. Our work sits at the intersection of nature, livelihoods and investment.
And LCAW is a moment to connect that work with the people and institutions who can help scale it. Next week, we’re hosting two events:
Financing the Indigenous Bioeconomy (Monday, 22nd, National Liberal Club)
A curated gathering with Practical Action and Global Canopy, spotlighting Indigenous and community‑led enterprises that are commercially viable, generating real revenue, and ready for capital.
Financing the Amazon Bioeconomy: From Policy to Practice (Thursday, 25th, King's College London)
A deep dive with leaders from Brazil, Peru and the investment community on why capital still isn’t reaching the communities where the bioeconomy actually happens and what structural shifts could finally unlock it.
We’ll be joined by Foundation for Amazon Sustainability (FAS), Ambition Loop, and Brazil’s Environment Ministry, who are shaping the Tropical Forest Forever Facility (TFFF) and the next generation of nature‑finance architecture.
We’re proud to represent the biggest rainforest on Earth at #LCAW, proud to contribute to the UK’s leadership in nature finance, and proud to be part of a community pushing for climate action.
