Erik Stein of Impact Alpha recently featured our company in a report on fund managers who centre their lending on Indigenous enterprises in the Amazon. He interviewed our co-founders at Amazonia Impact Ventures (AIV) and detailed our work across Latin America.

In the following file, Stein highlights how AIV collaborates with local governance structures to co-develop community-owned processing hubs for products such as macambo, açaí, guayusa and other non-timber forest products (NTFPs).

“Our work grew out of years supporting Indigenous enterprises and biodiversity projects in the Amazon, and we adapt our capital to fit community needs,” says AIV co-founder Aldo Soto.
