AIV Returns to SOCAP Global: Third Year Showcasing Amazon's Impact

Amazonia Impact Ventures is heading to San Francisco for our third year at SOCAP Global.

Being part of this global cohort of social entrepreneurs is always inspiring, but this year feels especially urgent. SOCAP25 places “Climate and Nature‑based Solutions” at the centre of the conversation, with 100 sessions, 2,000 participants, and more than 3,500 meetings scheduled on site. It promises to be a powerful gathering of ideas, capital, and collaboration.

Across three days (27–29 October), sessions will spotlight innovative approaches to restoring and protecting natural resources. For our Co‑Founder and Managing Director, Aldo Soto, who is speaking on a panel, the chance to learn across geographies is a rare gift.

AIV first joined SOCAP through the Fellowship Programme, and many of our most meaningful partnerships trace back to this community.

Panel Highlight: Financing the Future of Nature - Biocultural Innovation at Scale

Aldo will join moderator Carlo Angeles (C Minds) and speakers Wahleah Johns (Native Renewables, former U.S. DOE Office of Indian Energy) and Benito Juárez (Floating Fab Lab Amazon / Fab Lab Peru / regen.now).

Together, they will explore how ancestral knowledge, emerging technologies, and biocultural finance can drive long‑term impact. Expect insights on AI for biodiversity monitoring, blockchain for conservation credits, and regenerative markets that link local stewardship with global capital.
