Big News from AIV at NYC Climate Week
Thursday, 17th September
By Paula Perrelli dos Anjos

Climate Week NYC always surfaces where climate finance is heading next. This year, Amazonia Impact Ventures (AIV) is using the week to build towards an announcement of our own.
While the big news isn't out yet, our Co-Founder and Investment Director, Pajani Singah, is around New York City all week for Climate Week 2026. If you're around, here's where to meet him:
Mon 21 Sept: Convergence Members Breakfast & Networking
Tue 22 Sept: EY Ecossystem Exchange
Wed 23 Sept: The Sorenson Impact Natural Capital Summit
Wed 23 Sept: Skoll Foundation Reception
Thu 24 Sept: “Redesigning Climate Finance”, event by The Sidebar
Thu 24 Sept: “Strategic Levers for Thriving Forest Economies”, event by Latimpacto.
On Thursday, Pajani speaks on "From the Farmer Up: Redesigning Climate Finance Around the People Delivering the Solutions," a discussion on what adaptation finance would look like if it were built around smallholder farmers instead of funder requirements. It will be led by Aaron Ebner (Alianza Andina) and Natalie Petrulla (Fairtrade America).
And keep an eye out, next week's announcement is one we've been building towards for a while.
There's still time to get involved in https://www.climateweeknyc.org/
