The motto for #LondonClimateActionWeek2006 opens the event that brings together more than 75,000 people across more than 1,000 events


London Climate Action Week starts today, and the city is buzzing. Thousands of people, hundreds of events, and a shared sense that cooperation is alive, even in uncertain times. 


For us at Amazonia Impact Ventures (AIV), it’s one of those weeks where the team is running between rooms, conversations and panels, connecting the Amazon bioeconomy with the people and institutions who can help scale it.


Since 2020, we’ve deployed US$13 million in impact‑linked investments, reaching more than 5,000 producers and backing enterprises across agroforestry, regenerative agriculture and sustainable NTFP value chains. Our focus on forest conservation, and our work with the “missing middle” of Amazonian SMEs, is what sets us apart.


And today we kick off with our first event:


🌱 Financing the Indigenous Bioeconomy  

Monday 22nd • National Liberal Club  


A curated gathering with Practical Action and Global Canopy, spotlighting Indigenous and community‑led enterprises that are commercially viable, generating real revenue and ready for capital. The event has reached total capacity, but we will be reporting from there and soon those who weren't able to attend will be getting the highlights.
