Data from the Oxford Faith-Aligned Impact Finance Project (OxFAIF) estimates place faith‑aligned Assets Under Management (AUM) in the high hundreds of billions, approaching roughly US$1 trillion.
The segment is showing clear, sustained growth as faith institutions professionalise investment teams and integrate impact/ESG frameworks into their investment decisions. Faith investors are increasingly participating in blended finance deals that aim to achieve development and conservation outcomes.
From tomorrow to 13th of November, Amazonia Impact Ventures (AIV) will attend the CST & Investing Summit in Washington, D.C., for the first time. The event brings together family foundations, investment offices, and non-profits to discuss how to better align life values with investment practices.
Promoted by Francesco Collaborative
Organised by the institution inspired by the late Pope Francis, the summit will explore a “Faith-First” approach to investing, calling financiers to catalyse the restoration of the planet and support communities in need.
The Co-Founder and Executive Director of Francesco Collaborative, Felipe Witchger, stated, “Tens of millions have been invested into impact-first CST embodying funds through the community building of Francesco Collaborative over the past 3 years.”
According to Pajani Singah, who will be leading one of the sessions, “Faith‑based investors play an important role in the blended finance sector, and their catalytic capital enables us to make investments in hard-to-reach communities.”
The AIV Co-Founder concluded, “This aligns directly with AIV’s mission in the Amazon.” AIV is an impact‑first investor focused on the Amazon bioeconomy: 32% of our beneficiaries are Indigenous and 36% are women.
Workshop themes include “Women Leading Impact” and “Finance Organising for the Common Good”. Framed through a Well-Being Economy lens, human and planetary needs will be central to discussions.
