The Peruvian food market is projected to generate US$ 52.59 billion in revenue by 2025. According to the latest CAGR estimates (2025–2030), the sector is expected to grow annually by 5.28%, presenting significant opportunities for sustainable expansion.
To explore strategies for fostering long-term, responsible growth in food exports, Aldo Soto, Co-Founder and Managing Director of Amazonia Impact Ventures (AIV), will speak today (April 29th) at the 1st ADEX Forum: Sustainability and Foreign Trade. The event is promoted by ADEX, an association representing Peru's exporters and importers.
Soto will discuss how AIV is driving financial opportunities for sustainable exports in the Amazon, using impact credit as a key instrument to support small and medium enterprises (SMEs) access international markets. He will join a panel alongside representatives from the Ministry of the Environment (MINAM) and green finance investors.
This inaugural forum intends to be a collaborative space for public and private sector leaders committed to building a diversified, competitive, and sustainable export ecosystem. It is hosted at the Central Headquarters of BBVA Bank in San Isidro, Lima, one of the city’s most prominent financial hubs and home to major corporate headquarters.
As discussions unfold, participants will seek actionable solutions to strengthen sustainable trade. If you're attending the ADEX event, please come to say hello to Aldo and join us in the conversation about a resilient future for the Amazon.
