Three people sit in a wooden canoe on a river, preparing small Amazonian fruits collected in plastic tubs, surrounded by dense forest. The scene shows traditional, community‑led harvesting work in the Amazon.

This Wednesday, Amazonia Impact Ventures (AIV) will open the next Environmental Impact Investing Group (EIIG) Market Information Session, a gathering designed to help trusts, foundations and individual investors deepen their understanding of environmental impact investing and explore opportunities where capital can drive measurable change.

Our Co‑Founder and Investment Director Pajani Singah will introduce AIV’s work in the Amazon, sharing our impact model, the investment opportunity, and the enterprises and communities we partner with across the region.

The EIIG plays an important role in this field. After completing its pilot year in 2024, the programme has grown into a structured learning and support initiative for funders who want to use investment as part of their environmental strategy.

Phase two, now underway, offers tailored guidance, one‑to‑one deep dives, peer learning circles and curated pipelines of ventures working across habitats. This week’s session brings together a diverse group of ventures:

  • Amazonia Impact Ventures (AIV)

  • Land App

  • People Owned Power (POP)

  • Solway Coast and Marine Project (SCAMP)

  • Wakelyns

Across the EIIG network, confidence levels vary from those just beginning to explore impact investing to those with established portfolios. What unites the group is a shared interest in practical, transparent insights into how environmental investments work in practice: the models, the risks, the structures, and the real‑world outcomes.

We’re looking forward to contributing to the conversation and connecting with those exploring how capital can support nature and community‑rooted enterprise. If you’re joining, we look forward to seeing you there.
