Over the next two weeks, the Pan-Amazon Network for Bioeconomy is hosting a fully virtual forum, bringing together influential voices to shape the future of the Amazon’s bioeconomy. Aldo Soto, Managing Director at Amazonia Impact Ventures (AIV), will share insights on investing in 12 key value chains, including Brazil nuts, açaí, and aguaje. Today, he joins the Capital Drivers panel to discuss innovative investment strategies alongside regional leaders.

Earlier today, Pajani Singah, co-founder of Amazonia Impact Ventures (AIV), shared insights on Fund I with Convergence members at the virtual Convergence Deal Connect webinar. Attendees explored AIV’s blended finance debt vehicle, designed to drive sustainable enterprises in Latin America. Recognized by Convergence, AIV was selected for Catalytic Climate Finance Facility (CCFF) support, mobilizing capital for climate solutions across the Amazon.

AIV is thrilled to join the Amazonia Finance Network (AFN), strengthening our ability to mobilise investment and support small enterprises in the Amazon. Through collaboration with 55 other members, we aim to amplify our impact, enhance financial inclusion, and develop innovative solutions that empower local communities. Our work has improved the livelihoods of 4,000 producers, preserving 160,000 hectares of forest. We look forward to driving sustainable change through AFN.
